Training: The Trades offered are usually two-months duration with an intake of 40-60 trainees per batch. Training Content: Training content development with inputs from the industry to meet the global best practices has been specially developed. Updation, translation and customization of the training content is continuously ensured to remain current and meet industry specific needs. Machinery & Equipment: Each training centre is equipped with requisite plant & machinery and support infrastructure similar to the actual industrial working environment related to specific trade. Skill sets: The objective of the program is to impart basic skills necessary to become specialized in their respective trades, so that the initial wages are at least equal to the prescribed minimum wages. Technical Skills: For each of the trades, special attention to detail is provided to inculcate industry specific technical skills during the entire program duration. Soft Skills: English Language, General Knowledge, & Personality Development, Self-management, Workplace etiquette, Group/team behavior etc is laid emphasis upon. Duration: Two-month course. Certification of trainees: There will be a third party certification by expert group of people. Placement: The involvement of the training centre does not end with simply providing training to the candidates but is involved with providing placement assistance to the trainees in order to enable them to use their learnt skills to create economic advantage to themselves and fulfill industry skill needs. Therefore an assured placement is provided to each of the beneficiary upon successful completion of the training program in respective trades; based on industry commitment. Several established associations and companies are very closely partnered with FIWE in the objective , for instance, Apparel Training & Design Center (ATDC), which is involved in training and placement of the Rural BPL youth in particular regions. Many other organizations eg. Chandan Garments, Trends, Nehru Yuva; around 25 companies in Rajasthan and many other in other States have placed confirmed requirement of manpower thereby assuring placement for every single trained BPL youth. |
